Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin officially launched on Switch and PC today. To celebrate the occasion, Capcom is giving away a free Launch Starter Pack to all players, which includes a variety of in-game items to help you on your adventures.
The Launch Starter Pack can be picked up by visiting the Connecticat and selecting the "Downloadable Content" menu. From there, you should see the item listed as available DLC. The only restriction is that you must own the full Monster Hunter Stories 2 game (obviously) and that the pack can only be downloaded once – so make sure to use it wisely.
The DLC pack includes the following items:
- 10 Potions
- 3 Gathering Charms
- 3 Lucky Charms
- 10 Mahana Dunker
Monster Hunter Stories 2 might not be as challenging as traditional Monster Hunter games, but those items should still come in handy early on in your journey.
If you're already well on your way towards completing Wings of Ruin, you'll be happy to know that plenty of post-launch DLC is planned. The first title update will arrive on July 15, followed by four more through the rest of 2021.
