The NCAA Division I tournament is upon us, and that means bracket season. It also means the return of the Bracket Busters promo in NBA 2K. The NBA 2K23 Bracket Busters promo kicked off on March 13, a three-week event that will yield special Takeover rewards and a mystery player. So, what will you need to do in order to get all the rewards? Let’s take a look at what the Bracket Busters event entails.

Bracket Busters Log-In Cards
We have to start with the log-in cards for this event. On March 13, 2K began to release special Bracket Buster daily log-in tokens that can be obtained simply by going into MyTeam every day.
Now, here’s the gist of these token cards. There are 15 Bracket Buster daily log-in tokens, per the Collections in NBA 2K23. Since this is a three-week event, you can expect to need to log in to MyTeam every weekday between March 13-31 in order to get all the tokens.
Bracket Busters Takeovers
Then, there are the Takeovers. Takeover cards are back in NBA 2K23, but with a twist.
Throughout the event, NBA 2K23 will see the release of new Bracket Busters-themed Takeovers. These cards can be obtained by completing Agendas.
Keep in mind, however, that at least some of the Takeover cards are subject to being player picks via Agendas. Here’s a look at the Takeovers in 2K23:
- 94 OVR Willie Cauley-Stein vs. 94 OVR Frank Kaminsky – Get 4 blocks in a game (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 94 OVR Jared Sullinger vs. 94 OVR Brandon Knight – Score 21 points with a player in a Triple Threat or Triple Threat Online game (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 94 OVR Salim Stoudamire vs. 94 OVR Luther Head – Make five 3-pointers with a Shooting Guard in a game (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 94 OVR Elton Brand vs. 94 OVR Richard Hamilton – Score 27 points with a Bulls player in a game (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 94 OVR Cherokee Parks vs. 94 OVR Corliss Williamson – Score 23 points and get eight rebounds with a Power Forward in a game (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 96 OVR Nazr Mohammed vs. 96 OVR Michael Doleac – Score 10 points in the paint with a Center three times (reward is a Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 96 OVR Jarret Jack vs. 96 OVR Charlie Villanueva – Win 4 TT or TTO games by nine points or more (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 96 OVR Ryan Arcidiacono vs. 96 OVR Justin Jackson – Make 10 4 pointers over Clutch Time Offline or Clutch Time Online games. (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 96 OVR Ed Pinckney vs 96 OVR Reggie Williams – Win three Clutch Time Offline or Clutch Time Online games using five Diamond or higher players. (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 96 OVR Jared Jeffries vs 96 OVR Steve Blake – Get six defensive rebounds with a Wizards player four times. (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 97 OVR Ryan Hollins vs 97 OVR Glen Davis – Get 50 offensive rebounds over multiple games (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 97 OVR Ty Jerome vs 97 OVR Jarret Culver– Win 5 Domination or Unlimited games with 13 Pink Diamond or Higher players (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 97 OVR Kenny Anderson vs 97 OVR Stacey Augmon – Get 150 Assists over multiple games (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 97 OVR Sam Dekker vs 97 OVR Justice Winslow – Get 20 steals over multiple games (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
- 97 OVR Derek Anderson vs 97 OVR Marcus Camby– Score 400 points over multiple games (reward is Player Option Pack featuring two cards)
These Takeover cards will be available until April 7.
New cards will be added to the Bracket Buster event until March 31. Those who collect all the log-in tokens and complete the mural can receive a 98 OVR Glen Rice. This article will be updated as we get more information.
