The Park (Night) course is the second area that players will gain access to in New Pokemon Snap. It will unlock after a few runs of the daytime course and more or less follows the exact same route. Despite this, however, there are quite a few little differences this time around, not to mention a couple of new Pokemon for players to snap.

Much like the previous course, some of the Pokemon won't show up until players have increased their research level. At research level 3 and with the 2.0 update installed, there are 25 different types of Pokemon for players to photograph, although one of these will only appear after players have completed the main story. Some of the others can be hard to find too and will often require a little nudge from players in order to show up.
Updated August 5, 2021 by Tom Bowen: Announced less than one week before its release, the 2.0 update for New Pokemon Snap brought with it 20 new Pokemon and three new courses for players to explore. One of these courses, Secret Side Path, can actually be found within the Florio Nature Park and even shares an exit with the original course. As a result, there are now a few additional Pokemon that show up in the flowery meadow area at the end of Park (Night), meaning that completionists have a bit more work to do if they want a complete map of the course for their Photodex.
- Scorbunny – Scorbunny can be found to the player's right as soon as they enter the course and will show up again near the lake and in the flowery meadow if players hit it with an Illumina Orb while it's standing on the sign.
- Pichu – Players will see Pichu at the start of the course, but it will run away for good if they don't hit Scorbunny with an Illumina Orb. If they do, they'll find Pichu sleeping near a Torterra down by the Bidoof Dam, and waking it with a scan will cause it to show up again at the very end of the course.
- Pidgeot – Pidgeot appears at the beginning of the course as well as in the area near the lake. If players feed it in both spots, it will approach them in the flowery meadow for a four star photo. It's also possible to see one over the lake by waking the sleeping Magikarp and making it jump into the air.
- Dodrio– Dodrio shows up on the left at the start of the course and then again near the lake. If players hit it with an Illumina Orb the second time they see it, it will also appear at the end of the course.
- Bidoof– A small group of Bidoof will be running towards the player as they start the course. A few can also be found near the Bidoof Dam on the edge of the lake.
- Bouffalant– There's a herd of sleep Bouffalant to the right of the player's starting position.
- Swanna– Swanna can be found on the river near both bridges as well as on the lake and in the sky above it.
- Ducklett– Ducklett can be found swimming behind Swanna in the same places.
- Tangrowth– Players will find Tangrowth near the first bridge. It's so big, it's impossible to miss. Another Tangrowth will show up in the flowery meadow if players take the Secret Side Path route.
- Caterpie– Caterpie can be seen up on a tree branch shortly after crossing the first bridge. There are also some hiding behind the sign just before the meadow, but they'll only reveal themselves if players use the Melody Player.
- Murkrow– There are quite a few Murkrow in the first wooded section that players pass through. If players act quickly, they'll be able to feed one of them a Fluffruit to complete one of the course's 13 photo requests.
- Pinsir– Pinsir is buried in a hole on the left-hand side just before leaving the first wooded section. Repeatedly using scan will cause it to pop out and it will then show up later shortly after players pass the Bidoof Dam.
- Torterra– There are quite a few sleeping Torterra in the middle and end sections of the course. Hitting one of them with an apple will make the Torterra momentarily wake up and yawn, giving players a great chance to take a four-star photo. When following the Secret Side Path route, there'll be a few extra Torterra near the end of the course.
- Grookey– Grookey can be found sleeping near a Torterra immediately after crossing the second bridge. Waking it up with a scan will lead to it showing up again in the flowery meadow a little later on.
- Magikarp– There are a few Magikarp out on the lake, but the best one to get a photo of is sleeping on a rock just past the Bidoof dam. Another Magikarp can be found in the flowery meadow when following the secret side path, although getting it to show up is far from easy. Players will first need to hit the two Murkrow that show up near the end of the Side Path (Night) course with Illumina Orbs, which will cause a murder of Murkrow to show up a little later on and attack the Pidgeot in its nest. After the Pidgeot flies away, players will need to throw another Illumina Orb into the nest which will lead to a Magikarp jumping out. After it lands on the floor, if players illuminate the nearby Crystabloom and then perform a scan, the Magigarp will hop over some hedges and then show up on the ground in the meadow just before the course's exit.
- Hoothoot– Hoothoot can be found in the same tree as earlier on in the day or perched on top of the sign near the end of the course.
- Combee– There are lots of Combee buzzing around in the flowery meadow at the very end of the course.
- Sylveon– Sylveon can be found sleeping near a Torterra just after the second bridge. If players wake it with an Illumina Orb, it will also appear at the end of the course. To get a four star picture though, players will need to summon Heracross and then use the Melody Player when Heracross and Pinsir start fighting.
- Heracross– After reaching research level 3, scanning a few more times after Pinsir pops out of the ground will cause Heracross to fall from the tree above. It will then fly to the area just past the Bidoof Dam and start a fight with Pinsir. This will allow players to get four-star photos of the warring pair as well as Sylveon, who shows up to break up the fight if players woke it up earlier and then use the Melody Player.
- Vespiquen– Immediately after entering the meadow, if players hit the Crystabloom on the right-hand side with an Illumina Orb, a Combee will fly off and return shortly after with a Vespiquen in tow.
- Shaymin– Once players have completed the game, Shaymin will show up at the very beginning of the course near Pichu and Scorbunny. If players hit Scorbunny with an Illumina Orb while it's standing on the sign and then wake Pichu and Grookey by using scan, Shaymin will also appear in the flowery meadow at the end of the course.
- Foongus – Following the secret side path route will cause a bunch of Foongus to show up in the flowery meadow area at the end of the course.
- Vivillon – Immediately after entering the flowery meadow from the side path route, players can look to their right to see a garden pattern Vivillon fluttering around.
- Eevee – When following the side path route, players will be able to find an Eevee fast asleep behind the Tangrowth in the flowery meadow.
- Pikachu – Pikachu can be seen snoozing with Eevee next to a Crystabloom. Players can either hit the Tangrowth with a Fluffruit to make it move out of the way or wait until the NEO-ONE has passed and then turn around to get a photo of the pair.
