No More Heroes 3 is the latest game to see a delay due to Covid-19, as its release has now been pushed back to 2021.
As announced by No More Heroes director Goichi “Suda51” Suda on Twitter, the team at Grasshopper Manufacture had hoped to get the game out in 2020, but the global pandemic disrupted development.
“…The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic have unfortunately proven to be a real body blow to our schedule, causing unforeseen delays in development,” Suda explained. “Now that we have managed to get back on our feet with development, we have decided to focus on prioritising quality, and to therefore push back the final release date.”
