Koei Tecmo is working on Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening, the latest in the series that began nearly 40 years ago.
Shipping over 10 million copies worldwide, the latest game in the series is in development for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC and will arrive in July.
Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening puts you in the role of a daimyo, a powerful military leader during the Warring States Period in 16th-century Japan. As the leader of the clan, you’ll have to take responsibility and make the best decisions regarding your economy, diplomacy, and military. With a retainer on hand, you will use them to provide submissions to the player to help plan battle strategies.
To celebrate the series’ 40th anniversary, players can expect Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening to have landmarks and achievements which affect strategy planning. Additionally, there will be a large variety of scenarios, events, policies, and more. You also have access to edit giving access to change officer status, music, scenarios, and even create new clans.
