Atlus have released a new gameplay trailer for Omega Force and P-Studio’s hack and slash action RPG Persona 5 Strikers.
As previously reported, the game takes place in the summer vacation half a year after the events of Persona 5. The gang’s road trip across Japan is interrupted, as reality twists and metaverse Palaces appear in the real world as Jails.
Now the gang must journey across six Japanese cities, beat back Shadows in “pause-and-plan” action combat with old and new members of the Phantom Thieves, and try out the local sights and food.
The new gameplay trailer shows the gang in action in Shibuya; distorted to look like a theme park. We also see Joker employing multiple Personas in combat via a pausable menu, while other members of the Phantom Thieves stick to theirs.
Each character will have access to not only a firearm and melee weapon, but the fantastical and unique abilities of their Personas. We also hear a very small snippet of the English dub for Sophia (code named: Sophie).
