PES has largely had new games that need to be bought, and with the series’ two decade-long history, this would be the very first time that a mainline entry would be released for free.
PES has had fierce competition, particularly with EA’s FIFA series, and the 2022 version of the game being free would likely give them an advantage over their competition.
