It seems that there can never be enough Pokemon. In the latest news, The Pokemon Company is taking advantage of the trending social platform, TikTok. They’ve opened an account, specifically in Japan. Unfortunately, because of the region locks, those who do not reside in Japan likely will not be able to view the content posted to The Pokemon Company’s TikTok.

According to Nitnendo Life, the goal is to “deliver an even closer” pocket monster experience to fans. So far, the channel only includes videos of Pikachu dancing, and we’re unsure about what kind of content is going to follow.
In other Pokemon news, the Pokemon Presents event will be coming up soon on August 18 at 9AM EST. In this event, new information regarding Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be showcased, along with content for Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Unfortunately, we haven’t gotten more information about the event, though at least we don’t have to wait too long to find out what’s up.
The other relatively exciting Pokemon news includes the fact that a glitch in Pokemon Go has made it so that the Umbreon and Espeon evolution requirements are no longer in effect through August 16. Players are able to evolve Eevee into Umbreon or Espeon without walking the 10km requirement. They just have to set Eevee as their buddy. It seems Niantic isn’t in a rush to correct this, as they made the decision to not take action until after the upcoming Community Day.
