With Microsoft having finally unveiled the pricing and launch details of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, all eyes are not on Sony, who are still silent on similar details of the PS5. The console is sue out this Holiday, which means we shouldn’t be too far away from such information becoming officially available, but as we wait for that to happen, that info might have have come out from some other sources.
Retailer listings for the PS5’s accessories have been going up on various sites for a while, and some of them might have clued us into when we can expect the console to launch. A PS5 wall mount is listed as releasing on November 19 on Amazon UK, while Gizmodo reports that various PS5 accessories have a release date of November 20 on Amazon Japan. Previous reports have suggested that Sony are planning a mid-November launch for the PS5, and this would certainly fall in line with that.
Meanwhile, a UK retailer recently said that pre-orders for the PS5 would be going live “any day now”, suggesting that official announcements from Sony might not be too far away. It’s hard to be sure about anything until Sony says something itself, but hopefully, we’re not too far away from information being officially released. Stay tuned, and we’l keep you updated should we learn anything more.
