Granzella has launched the third crowdfunding campaign for R-Type Final 2.
While the game has already raised $1.09 million from its previous two crowdfunding campaigns, the developer has gotten many requests to do another, for more content and more backer rewards.
The third crowdfunding campaign has new stretch goals naturally, and they include:
- $1.1 million – Reproduce and incorporate one of the stages in “R-Type II” with the latest technology as an additional stage
- $1.3 million – Reproduce and incorporate stage one of the original “R-Type” with the latest technology as an additional stage
- $1.5 million – Reproduce and incorporate stage three of the original “R-Type” with the latest technology as an additional stage
- $2 million – Production of a total of all 102 R-craft
R-Type Final 2 is launching in spring 2021 across Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X+S, and Nintendo Switch in North America, Europe, and Oceanic territories.
