Rainbow Six Extraction – Every Operator and Gadget

In Rainbow Six Extraction you’re tasked with defending humanity from an alien threat known as the Archaeans. To do this you’ll need the best of the best, REACT having recruited an elite team of Operators from the Tom Clancy universe.

Each Rainbow Six Extraction Operator has their own defining traits. While they all perform the same basic action while out on a mission, you’ll need to account for their unique gadgets as well as weapon loadouts and stats.

Not every Operator from Rainbow Six Siege is available to play here. The developers at Ubisoft have formed a crack team of 18 characters plucked from various counterterrorism units from around the globe. This number is set to expand with regular content updates.

Rainbow Six Extraction Operators – how to unlock

You’ll only start out with a handful of REACT agents when starting the game. You’ll unlock more of them as you play missions, complete research studies, and level up your roster.

More Operators will become available once you high milestone rank 5, then 10, then 17. You should breeze past the first few milestone ranks though there is a fair amount of grind to obtain the full Rainbow Six Extraction roster.

Which Operator should I pick?

From what we’ve played there are no Rainbow Six Extraction Operators you should avoid or pick every time. It really depends on your own playstyle: whether you want speed over stopping, firepower over stealth etc.

Give each member of the team a trial run, whether in solo or co-op, learning where best to use their signature gadget. If playing with randoms you’ll ideally want an Operator with decent survivability who can easily scout and ping targets. Coordinating with a squad helps open your options when it comes to team composition. Ideally you’ll want one squadmate who can heal, one who can mark targets, and one capable of clearing a path through the map.

Of course, there’s scope to switch things up. Gadgets have a variety of uses, such as distracting enemies, highlighting supplies, or even deploying a mounted machine gun. Thanks, Tachanka.
