A Red Dead Online player has become TikTok famous thanks to their videos focusing on killing KKK members that are apparently "racist players".
As reported by Kotaku, TikTok user YuhBoi has become popular because of videos focusing on killing KKK members in extravagant ways, although the legitimacy of the clips is being called into question.

In the videos, YuhBoi's Red Dead Online character finds other players dressed in KKK attire, either standing around congregating or trying to harass other players. The videos have a remixed song in the background, and then feature YuhBoi killing the players in stylish fashion one by one to the beat of the song, using weapons like explosive arrows, tomahawks, and stealth kills. Each video ends with YuhBoi turning to the camera with a thumbs up, before promising another video of much the same thing.
Currently, YuhBoi has made 16 videos where he hunts down racist Red Dead Online players, and has amassed over 3.6 million likes and 134 thousand followers since starting in July. Although the main reason why the account has gone viral is because of the KKK-killing videos, YuhBoi also has several other ongoing TikToks, such as videos where he details some of the weird things he's seen in Red Dead Online.
Kotaku writer Zack Zwiezen took a detailed look at the whole situation and wrote up an article explaining the trend and diving into how it's got so popular. However, Zack also thinks that the vast majority of the videos are staged, saying, " In all my hours playing the game, I’ve never seen anything like what’s in the video. Instead, so-called KKK are often conveniently standing next to explosive barrels or menacing cliffs that can make for cinematic moments while Yuhboi kills them. It’s a little too convenient on multiple fronts."
Zack comes to the conclusion that YuhBoi is using mods to create the situations that you see in the videos, which is why the user never seems to run out of KKK members to hunt down and kill. Rockstar has previously removed exploits that put KKK members into Red Dead Online, so the whole situation does seem a little weird. With the videos only getting more popular, it's unlikely that they'll stop anytime soon, no matter their legitimacy.
