Riders Republic Delayed to Later in 2021

Riders Republic

Joining the likes of Hogwarts Legacy, Ubisoft has announced that Riders Republic has been delayed. Instead of February 25th, the sports title is now slated for later this year. In a new tweet, developer Ubisoft Annency said the additional time “will allow our passionate team to deliver the best fun fueled experience to our players.”

Announced at Ubisoft Forward in September 2020, Riders Republic is a massive multiplayer experience with several sports activities like snowboarding, mountain biking, wingsuit flying and more. The main selling point of the game is its enormous races where more than 50 players can participate at once. It also features a Career Mode and large open world based on various US National Parks.

Riders Republic is slated in development for Xbox One and PS4 along with Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Google Stadia. However, it remains to be seen if the previous-gen versions will be dropped in favor of the current-gen (especially when the former can only handle 20 players in a large race). As to the new release date, stay tuned for more details and updates in the coming months.
