A new map, hoverboards, the Season 3 Battle Pass, and a Japanese theme wait for you in the new season of Rogue Company.
The popular free-to-play game from First Watch Games and Hi-Rez arrived in Kyoto, Japan, for the third season of Rogue Company. Players of the tactical action-shooter may enjoy the Japanese-themed Season 3, which includes a bunch of themed new content.
Runway will appear in tokyo
Rogue Company travels to Kyoto, Japan, in Season 3 to locate and prevent the sale of an experimental weapon stolen from the US military on the Dark Web. The Rogue Company really needs a win here to repair their shattered public image after the raid on their training camp and the incarceration of one of its Rogues, Ronin.
The squad enlists the assistance of famous arms dealer Runway in order to reclaim the weapon. Runway will be added to the game as a playable character as part of the mid-season update in September.
Palace
The Palace map, based on Kyoto’s famous Nijo Castle, adds a new degree of verticality to the game, allowing players to battle across rooftops. It’s a first for the game.
In appreciation of Kyoto Prefecture permitting the use of the ancient Nijo Castle as an example for modeling the Palace map, what better way to support this wonderful cultural place than to give 5% of every Season 3 Battle Pass income to the Historical Preservation of Nijo Castle in Kyoto, Japan?
Hoverboard and the new season pass
What could be better than launching yourself with a hoverboard instead of a wingsuit? This new Rogue Company season allows players to use a hoverboard to navigate the area, which has three skins available as the game progresses.
And what better time to discuss the third season’s battle royale than now? By just playing the game, players may earn over 50 prizes, including the Mythic KA30 weapon wrap, the first-ever to modify weapon geometry. More wraps, as well as Rogue costumes, emotes, Rogue Bucks, boosters, and other items — some of which are free – are now available.
Rogue Company is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
