In this guide, we are going to go over everything you need to know about fast traveling. With the help of Alex the Bus Driver, you will be zooming across the map in no time.

Unlocking Bus Stops

Bus stops will not be available right at the beginning of the game. To unlock Alex the Bus Driver, you will need to discover bus stops. As you travel around the map, you will pass empty bus stops that will be added to your map. Once you pass a few bus stops, you will unlock the ability to fast travel. Let's look at how to use these bus stops next.

Using Bus Stops

As mentioned earlier, fast travel is done at bus stops by Alex the Bus Driver. A bus stop is a location on the map that has benches and a covering, like bus stops in real life. Bus stops can be seen on the map, shown with a little bus icon.

As you look at bus stop locations on your map, you may notice that some of the icons are dull. If a bus stop icon is dull, the bus driver is not there. Alex will go around the map to different bus stops. To find his current location, look for the bus stop icon that is glowing yellow. Above, you can see the bus icon when Alex is present, compared to when Alex is not there.

Once you approach a bus stop where Alex is, talk to him! The first time you meet Alex, he will tell you all about his bus stops. Afterward, you can fast travel and use the bus stops whenever you want. From a bus stop, you will be able to travel to any other bus stop on the map. This means that you cannot go to specific locations, but your travel time will be shorter.

Taking the bus is completely free, so don't forget to utilize it!
