Stormind Games have announced Batora: Lost Haven, a new story-driven action-RPG from the developers of the Remothered series.
As stated in the press release the game follows Avril, a reckless young girl that gains incredible powers after Earth has been devastated by a mysterious event. Now, she finds herself on an interplanetary adventure to save what remains.
The game’s themes are based around the balance between body and mind, which manifests in two sets of health bars for Avril. Players will be able to swap between physical and mental states at will to gain access to new abilities on the fly. Promising to be far from the good-or-evil, all of the Avril’s choices “will turn out to be important, often even life-changing, for the characters she meets or the places she visits.”
The game also features writer Anne Toole, composer Ron Fish of the Arkham series, and former Assassin’s Creed concept artist Borislav Mitkov.
