Amazon Prime Day traditionally falls in July, but we're being treated to an early sales extravaganza this year with a fast approaching June 21 kick-off. 2020 became the retailer's most successful event since it first launched in 2015, but Amazon is promising an even bigger Prime Day 2021 with over two million discounts spanning 48 hours.
You don't need to wait for premium gaming hardware to go cheap, however, as Prime Day deals are already starting to trickle before they pour. Roccat and Razer have slashed the prices of their peripherals, Thermaltake has cut the cost of its power supplies, and one of the best mouse pads for gaming is down by 15%. If last year is any indication, we should eventually see some reductions from Logitech, Corsair, Cooler Master, and a few other household brands, too.
Unlike Black Friday and Cyber Monday, you'll need an Amazon Prime subscription to take part and access exclusive deals. Fortunately, there's a 30-day free trial and it comes with a bunch of lasting benefits, like free delivery, entertainment from Prime Video, Music, and Reading, unlimited photo storage, and Twitch Prime.
