Bloober Team has announced that it will release a PlayStation 5 version of its newest game, The Medium, on September 5th. The Medium first launched on Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, and Xbox Games Pass on January 28th, 2021.
In The Medium, players “discover a dark mystery only a medium can solve. Travel to an abandoned communist resort and use your unique psychic abilities to uncover its deeply disturbing secrets, solve dual-reality puzzles, survive encounters with sinister spirits, and explore two realities at the same time.”
The main selling point for The Medium is the ability to to play across two worlds – the spirit world and the physical world – simultaneously. While we liked The Medium when it released this year, we felt it failed to live up to its full potential.
