The Next God of War and Gran Turismo 7 Confirmed to be on PlayStation 4

Hermen Hulst has just confirmed in a blog post that the Next God of War and Gran Turismo will be on PlayStation 4 “Where it makes sense to develop a title for both PS4 and PS5 — for Horizon Forbidden West, the next God of War, GT7 — we’ll continue looking at that. And if PS4 owners want to play that game, then they can. If they want to go on and play the PS5 version, that game will be there for them.” stated Hermen, the boss of PlayStation
We previously reported that Sony plans to support PlayStation 5 until 2023 as well which turned out to be true. Sony does not want to leave the PlayStation 4 player base behind yet because of the shortage issues and because the player base is just really big.

An announcement from Santa Monica Studio that the next God of War will shift it's release window to 2022.

The next God of War has been delayed as well. I assume it is to make the PlayStation 4 port better since I am pretty sure this God of War title started development as a PlayStation 5 only game, unlike Horizon Forbidden West.
We reported previously that God of War Ragnarok would be PS5 Only, but those reports turned out to be false since most decisions change anytime, or our source might have just been wrong at that time.
Hermen also stated that there are over 25 PlayStation First-Party Games in development (Most of them are New IPs as well), and we should see them soon.
Hermen further commented on this and stated, “We also want to make sure that we’re creating a variety of experiences for our audiences. Franchises, new IP, big games, smaller and more innovative games, single-player stories, and multiplayer. Who says that multiplayer experience cannot have great stories, right?”
