From its utterly gigantic hordes to its fascinating Steam Punk setting and cell-shaded style, the game has a lot going on. However, at times it can be pretty brutal and it's quite a slog to get through some of its later levels, so being able to level the playing field a little with some cheats can make the game much more fun.

Cheats in They Are Billions work a bit differently from other games. Instead of sticking in a code through a controller or bringing up console commands, you need to download a Cheat Trainer. There are quite a few to choose from, there are also premium options, but your best choice is any of the free versions. Also, if you use them it's recommended you turn cheats off before a mission ends or it will glitch the game. Some cheats also take time to take effect, so if you don't see results right away, just be patient. With that in mind, here are the best cheats in They Are Billions to use.
Unlimited Resources
Resource management in They Are Billions is by far the biggest challenge in the game. Ensuring you have a steady supply of food, gold, workers, and more can feel like a constant uphill battle. Especially early on when you have only low-tier gathering buildings to use.
With the Unlimited Resources cheat you can make worrying about income a thing of the past. With this, you can set your building's resource gathering amount and cap to as high as you like or just give yourself a bit of a boost when things are tough.
Fast Research
Building a Wood Workshop quickly is crucial to any session in They Are Billions. This humble shack is where you get your in-mission upgrades for your base and units. It's highly recommended to have one as without it you're only going to struggle, especially in the latter stages of the campaign when some of the missions can get pretty intense.
Frustratingly though, unlocking higher-tier buildings and units can take quite a while. Time, that often, you just don't have. With this cheat though you can turn your wooden fort into an impregnable stone-faced outpost before the massive hordes of undead show up.
Instant Kill
This cheat is pretty self-explanatory, it instantly kills a selected unit, zombie, or any other creature on the map. Although probably something that will go unused by most, it's still a handy thing to have.

For example, if your base is on the verge of collapse from a massive zombie horde and you don't want to start all over again then instant kill lets you cull the flock in seconds. It's also handy if you need to kill a friendly unit that's either stuck or required for a quick resource refund.
Quick Build/Train
Training units or building some of the high-end towers and walls can sometimes feel like it takes forever. It feels even longer when there's a horde approaching, especially as even the strongest walls can buckle in seconds as they tear they are apart like tissue paper.
With this cheat, you can speed things up substantially. Units are churned out super fast and buildings burst out from the ground as quickly as you can place them. It's perfect for quickly countering a zombie incursion or erecting a strong fortress in seconds.
God Mode
Another one that needs no introduction, God Mode renders everything and everyone impervious to damage. In a game where death can happen in seconds and a Game Over means a full restart, entering God Mod can provide quite the relief at times.
It's perfect for the isometric hero sections where it's just you alone against the hordes, or if you're stuck on a particularly tough mission and you just want to experience the rest of the game. Even though it's considered the cheatiest of cheats, it's still a fun and extremely helpful one to break out.
Edit Health
The units and walls you get early on are quite squishy and as you progress through the campaign the hordes get bigger and the fights get tougher. Being able to tweak things a little in your favor can often be the only way out in this brutally hard RTS.
This nifty cheat for example lets you edit the health of friendly units, buildings, and enemies. So you can make your base super tanky or set the zombie's stats so low they get one shot once they're in range of your soldiers or towers.
Energy Transfer Range
Expanding your base requires supplying energy to darkened areas of the map and the only way to do that is by building Tesla Towers. These sparking monoliths provide electricity to structures around them and the more you place down, the more tiles you can build on.

They have a base range of 136 tiles or 152 if placed on a corner and whilst that may seem like a lot, when you're playing They Are Billions it always feels like it's never far enough. But with this cheat you can bump up your energy deployment range as far as you like, making expanding out your base much easier and less resource-intensive.
Empire Points
As you progress through the campaign of They Are Billions you're given Empire Points for completing missions and any optional side tasks. These points are then spent unlocking new buildings and upgrades in a fairly large and sprawling tech tree.
Progress through this can be slow at times on lower difficulties as the points given out for mission completion are woefully low. But with this cheat, you can give yourself as many points as you like. It's a pretty handy way to unlock crucial upgrades when you need them instead of having to slog through the game scrimping and saving every little Empire Point you can.
View Range
The world of They Are Billions is dark and full of terrors. Shambling corpses in their thousands lurk around every corner, giant mutants seem to loom out of the night without warning and it is incredibly easy to stumble straight into a horrible death.
Your units and towers also have a relatively small view range, which makes the horror nice and claustrophobic. Whilst you can increase your base's sightlines with a Lookout Tower, this cheat also lets you tweak your units' field of view substantially. So if you're tired of constantly being ambushed by zombies, this might be for you.
Game Speed
The days counting down until the next horde wave comes in each mission slip by fairly quickly. For some, it's still too slow whilst for others it's a difficult deadline speeding towards you.
Whilst the game's survival mode lets you tweak this time limit, the campaign does not. But, with this cheat, you can speed up or slow down the game whenever you like. Whilst it may not be the most game-changing cheat you can use, it's a nice bit of customization on top of the already helpful pause feature.
