As this season of Fortnite draws to a close, things are starting to get more exciting on the Island. Not only have some pretty awesome characters started making their way over, but we've also got news on a season finale of sorts, as well as proof that Epic is trying to keep Fortnite as clean as possible. Here are the top stories in Fortnite this week.

Operation: Fire Sky Ends Chapter Two Season Seven
The biggest bit of Fortnite news this week is that Operation: Fire Sky will end Chapter Two, Season Seven and usher in the next theme. This finale will be an interactive one, similar to the Galactus and Zero Point events from previous seasons, and will have players invading the mothership to deliver one last message to the aliens. We're going to go ahead and presume it's an exploding message. You can play Operation: Fire Sky on September 12.
Bad Boy, Bad Boy, He's Coming For You
Here's a strange, but happy surprise. Will Smith's character Mike Lowrey, one of the titular Bad Boys, has joined Fortnite as a playable skin. We're not sure why exactly, but considering how fantastic the first two films are, we're happy to see him. Mike comes with a dufflebag back bling, and some fence cutters as a harvesting tool, but you're mainly getting him to endlessly sing the Bad Boys theme down the mic, aren't you?
Shang-Chi Comes To Fortnite To Celebrate His Movie
Shang-Chi is having a pretty good week. Not only is his MCU debut now in cinemas, but he's also making a playable appearance in Fortnite. Unlike the MCU version, this Shang-Chi is based more on the comic version of the character, complete with the cartoony red gloves and more colourful outfit. He also comes with some accessories, such as the Great Protector's Shield back bling, Blades of the Brother Hand pickaxes, and Dragon's Scale wrap.
Epic Disables Emotes For The March Through Time Event
In a move we're shocked didn't happen earlier, Epic decided to ban almost all emote use during the Martin Luther King March Through Time event. Before this, some players were trying to be funny during the event and use immature emotes that mostly just mocked the seriousness of the situation. Players are now only able to use the eight specific emotes that were created for the event, with every other one in the game completely locked from use. It was also reported that Epic apparently already banned the use of some emotes, but just didn't go far enough.
Bloodsport Is Seemingly Just The Beginning For The Suicide Squad Skins
Earlier this month, we got to see The Suicide Squad's Bloodsport join Fortnite to tie into the film's release. Don't worry though, there are seemingly a few more characters from that film making their way to the Island. Dataminers have found evidence that King Shark and Weasel will be coming to Fortnite soon, although nothing was found on them beyond a name and reference image. We'll hopefully be seeing those two, who are the film's best characters, very soon.
