Microsoft have been adding to Xbox Game Pass’ catalog relentlessly on a consistent basis, and recent weeks have seen a lot of activity on that front. Most noticeably, the entire EA Play library was made available to all Xbox Game Pass subscribers at no additional cost (though that perk has not yet arrived for PC subscribers). And it’s looking like another major third party might be preparing to add to the Game Pass lineup as well.
Recently, Jez Corden of Windows Central took to Twitter to briefly talk about the recent rumours that similar to EA Play, Ubisoft’s Uplay + catalog might also be added to Xbox Game Pass soon. Corden added that based on what he’s heard, there is “a strong chance” that that might actually end up happening.
Corden has a solid track record with Xbox-related rumours, but it should go without saying that, as with any other rumour, this should be taken with a grain of salt for now. Microsoft did recently say that they’d be open to collaborating with more subscription services for Game Pass similar to their EA Play collab, so there’s definitely a possibility that they have have something in the works with Ubisoft as well.
Either way, we’ll let you know should we learn anything more, so stay tuned.
I've seen rumours about Ubisoft Uplay+ joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
I think this has a strong chance of being true, based on stuff I've heard.
