If you're lucky enough to own a PS5, then you can play Warhammer: Vermintide 2 with double the frame rate and vastly improved resolution, although it's not quite up to 4K standards.
Developer Fatshark perhaps wisely prioritized frame rate over image quality in update 1.23, which provides Vermintide 2 a performance boost on PS5. Frame rate is a smooth 60 fps while resolution gets boosted to 1440p. Shadow quality has been vastly improved with more shadow casting lights and higher density scattering. Screen space reflections also dial up the realism of wet surfaces by showing a blurry reflection of the surrounding terrain.
Besides the PS5 performance boost, update 1.23 also includes a rat swarm of bug fixes, everything from crashes to gameplay interactions to terrain bugs that were added in the recent Chaos Wastes expansion.

There are plenty of other games getting their PS5 upgrades, like Sniper Elite 4, The Witcher 3, and The Last Of Us Part 2. There's also a planned upgrade for GTA Online, although that will mostly just make the cars go faster–something that players are calling for now that they've all got tuner cars from the Los Santos Tuners update.
