Do You Need PlayStation Plus To Play Call Of Duty: Warzone?
Here's some good news for you: you do not need PlayStation Plus in order to play Call of Duty: Warzone online. Warzone is a free-to-play game, similar to Apex Legends and Warframe, and luckily, you do not require PS+ in order to play free-to-play games on PSN. Which makes sense, otherwise they wouldn't actually be free at all.
What Benefits Does PS+ Bring To Warzone?
Despite the fact that you do not need PS+ to play Call of Duty: Warzone online, that does not mean there is no reason to be a PS+ subscriber, even if you do just play the one game. Each season PS+ subscribers will gain access to a new Warzone bundle which will be free, and exclusive to PS+ subscribers.
Currently if you turn on your console you should be able to find the Call of Duty: Warzone Combat Pack, which is free for all PS+ subscribers. Currently if you want to just install Call of Duty: Warzone with no extras, it will take up 95GB of storage space. You can, additionally, install the 4K Texture Pack, but if you're not playing on a PS5, or a PS4 Pro with a fast hard drive, there's not much benefit to downloading it.
