It has been one stressful and strange ride for Cyberpunk 2077 players since the game’s launch. By now, we’re all familiar with the overwhelming number of problems the game had when it first came out with countless bugs. It was so bad on consoles that the game was pulled from the PlayStation Store back in December of 2020, and this followed after three different delays for launch. Only one week after it finally launched, and the game was pulled from the store and wouldn’t be available again until June of 2021.

When Cyberpunk 2077 first became available again in June, it shot up to the top spot in the PS store. However, this was very short-lived, as the numbers for the top games in July show that Cyberpunk 2077 plummeted as quickly as it jumped to the top. In other news, the Cyberpunk 2077 combat designer is currently working on Fable after leaving CD Projekt Red and joining Playground Games. Paweł Kapała has spent seven years at CD Projekt Red and has worked on The Witcher 3 in the past, implementing boss fights, as well as woring on specific encounters, enemy AI and behavior, and more. Considering his history, we’re stoked to see what great things he will accomplish with the next Fable game.
