The first anniversary for Genshin Impact is quickly approaching and it looks like fans are in for a musical celebration. Developer Mihoyo has announced an online concert to commemorate the action role-playing game’s first birthday, where musicians from around the world will perform covers of songs from Teyvat.
The actors behind beloved characters like Aether, Lumine, and Barbara shared the news during Genshin Impact's Version 2.1 livestream special event. Genshin Impact's musical showcase is free, and artists from Belgium, South Korea, and the United States will take to the stage to perform.

So far, there aren't any further details available for the concert just yet – like when it will take place, what the setlist includes, or how you can participate. If it's anything like past events though, we can expect not only plenty of Genshin Impact fanfare, but also giveaways in the form of in-game goodies like Primogems.
Speaking of 2.1, it was an exciting day for Genshin fans as they were treated to a special livestream. The livestream showed off what to expect in the upcoming update, including three new characters (Raiden, Kokomo, and Sara) and new islands to explore. Since its release in September of last year, Genshin Impact has been consistent in updating the game almost every month. These updates offer new characters, weapons, storylines, and events that keep the game from becoming too repetitive or boring. In fact, the continuous updates with new content is part of the reason Genshin has remained so popular amongst so many similar RPG titles.
It is gearing up to be a pretty busy couple of weeks for Genshin Impact fans. And even if you're not keen on the concert, there's still plenty to do – Mihoyo is known for crafting some amazing crossovers for Genshin, like the recent Horizon Zero Dawn crossover coming to the game.
