We're just days away from the launch of Golf Club: Wasteland on Nintendo Switch, and if you've been thinking of picking it up later this week, you'll be pleased to know that it includes some very welcome extras.
The game, which combines environmental storytelling with some lovely-looking golf puzzle action, is headed to the eShop on Friday, 3rd September. All orders include a full, two-hour digital soundtrack and a 55-page graphic novel called Charlie’s Odyssey, which delves into the full story of the game’s hero.
To give players a taste of what's to come, Demagog Studio has put together a couple of animated music videos featuring two songs from the soundtrack. Both songs feature vocals from Ana Curcin and can be listened to below:
Human life is wiped out. Earth is now a golf course for the ultra-rich. Play through a cozy apocalypse as you piece together the fall of humanity at the hands of consumerism, Silicon Valley culture, and ecological disaster. All while a smooth-talking radio DJ broadcasting from Mars and his callers try to remind you that life on the red planet ain't so bad.
We'll have a review of Golf Club: Wasteland for you as soon as we can, but feel free to let us know if you're interested in the game in the meantime with a comment below. You'll spot that it's available at a 25% discount for a limited time, taking the usual £8.99 asking price down to just £6.74.
