Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics released Marvel's Avengers last year, and Black Panther has since been added to the in-game roster. Marvel's Avengers fans who have been anticipating an MCU skin for Black Panther can now play as their favorite version of the Wakandan hero.
The official Marvel's Avengers Twitter account recently announced that a new Black Panther costume has been added to the in-game marketplace. Unlike the standard version of the hero, this outfit for the character is based on the "Marvel Studios' Black Panther" from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After this release, fans of the Black Panther comics may now be clambering for the addition of other outfits, but moviegoers will be most familiar with this version of the hero.

Celebrating the release of the new Black Panther outfit, Crystal Dynamics assures Marvel's Avengers fans that this hero is a "king fighting for the throne and for his people," just like in the films. Among the other Black Panther looks that Crystal Dynamics can look to for inspiration are the Caped, Civil War, and King T'Chaka Black Panther, or alternatively the recent "What If?" version of Starlord. Crystal Dynamics has yet to confirm the next outfit for Black Panther.
Chadwick Boseman portrayed Black Panther in the Marvel films, but tragically passed away. Since Black Panther was originally added to Marvel's Avengers, players have celebrated him in-game. Other fans of Black Panther simply appreciate his melee DPS style of combat and his agility. It's unclear what the next addition to Marvel's Avengers' roster will be, but this new version of Black Panther will excite some Marvel fans.
Black Panther's previous addition to the Marvel's Avengers roster featured a unique look, but this new one celebrates his appearance in Marvel films so far. While the War for Wakanda has already been added to the game, this new outfit may entice players to return to the mystical location. The MCU Black Panther has been added to Marvel's Avengers beyond the release of War for Wakanda, which brought a lot of new content to the game.
The addition of this new outfit to Marvel's Avengers came as a surprise with the recent Marvel's Avengers patch. Crystal Dynamics hadn't specified to Marvel's Avengers fans that the MCU Black Panther would be added to the marketplace before the statement of its addition. A blue variant of Black Panther has also been released for PlayStation fans, but Xbox fans may be waiting a while for an equally celebratory green outfit.
Marvel's Avengers is available right now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
