During its recent Panel From Hell stream, Larian Studios announced the newest class that would be coming to Baldur’s Gate 3 – the Druid. Utilizing the power of nature, the Druid is capable of utilizing all kinds of spells and transforming into different animals. Check out the first trailer below.
There are over 30 new spells and abilities for the class, and it’s possible to transform into wolves, badgers, oxen and much more. Each animal has their own unique advantage – cats are more stealthy, for example – so knowing when to use them is key. Of course, you can also whip enemies and send rolling flaming boulders at them as well.
The Druid will be available when Patch 4 goes live. While the patch doesn’t have a release window, it’s coming “soon” as per the developer. Along with the Druid, there will be a number of quality of life improvements in the patch, from more intuitive torches to proper cinematics when speaking with the dead.
