It's hard enough to manage to date one person so just imagine a game where you have to take out multiple people and increase your relationship level with all of them. In Boyfriend Dungeon, you'll have to gain friendships with the various people in the game as you progress through dunjs. There are a total of 33 available gifts in-game for you to collect and offer to your potential partners.
As you get to know the different weapons and learn about their interests you can start to speculate what they'd like and dislike but some options aren't always that obvious. Just like in Stardew Valley, there are also universal loves that all of the characters will love receiving such as the bouquet of a dozen red roses, the racing game, and the love letter.
Giving someone a loved gift will increase your friendship by 75 points, a liked gift will increase it by 50 points, and giving them a disliked gift won't increase nor decrease your friendship, it'll be rejected and put back in your inventory.

Different Weapons Have Different Tastes
As mentioned before, as you get to know your potential matches, you'll notice that their tastes aren't random and they're linked to the type of things they enjoy and their hobbies. There are seven weapons in the game that you can date and give presents to. Here's a short summary of each one of them so you can understand them all a little bit better and see why they prefer certain types of gifts.

- Isaac is the first weapon you'll meet in the game. He is handsome and charming and if you want to romance him or grow a friendship faster it's important to know what gifts you should be giving him right away. He is a sophisticated man with a refined taste.
- Sunder is what most people would call a 'bad boy', he's mysterious and seems to be keeping a dark secret. He also owns the La Rosa club.
- Valeria is a loveable painter that will easily win your heart. She loves to travel and art and if you get to know her you'll notice that she despises ducks.
- Seven is a tough cookie to crack but once you get to know him you'll see that he's got a soft inside. He is a K-pop star and widely known.
- Sawyer is a gentle soul, they're trying to learn how to cook but get nervous quite easily. They enjoy video games as well as poetry.
- Rowan is definitely another mysterious person in the game. To go on a date with them you need to solve their riddle. They like wild plants and hate social media.
- Pocket is a cat and you'll find him first few floors of the La Rosa club dunj. He likes fish just like any cat would.

It's important to continue to grind dunjs to receive new recipes. Clearing challenges and playing through the floors with different weapons might also unlock new recipes. Craft the recipes whenever you get the chance, especially before going on dates. You don't want to miss the opportunity to give a present when it eventually arises. Gaining friendship through gifts makes it so you don't have to grind as much in the dunj to increase the number of friendship points you have with a certain character.
