It says something about Breath of the Wild that players are still learning new game-breaking mechanics over four years after its initial release. The latest comes courtesy of Reddit user PrestigiousBat3220 who has figured out a way to make Link fly without the use of the paraglider.
As like all good glitches, this particular exploit begins with a chicken. In the video, we see PrestigiousBat3220 has relocated a chicken near a cliff face so that he can initiate the glitch and immediately begin soaring into the midnight sky.
Step one is to pick up the chicken. Step two is to jump off a cliff while holding onto the chicken and then swap to your bow and arrow. Step three is to fly for as long as your stamina lasts.
The game still thinks Link is holding onto the chicken so there’s still a stamina bar to contend with. The video cuts out before PrestigiousBat3220 runs out of stamina, but we suspect that they’d plummet to their death if that stamina bar were to run out. Then again, this is a glitch, so who knows? Maybe Link will just keep floating around forever.

In a somewhat less useful glitch, another player has restored poison water cut from the game’s beta and used it to flood all of Hyrule. Because some Links just want to watch the world burn. Or drown, in this case.
