The Binding of Isaac: Repentance – All New Bosses | Game Rant

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth has received its final DLC expansion with The Binding of Isaac: Repentance. This expansion adds two new playable characters, over 150 new items, over 100 new enemies, and over 25 new bosses.

The new bosses for The Binding of Isaac are spread throughout existing floors as well as the new areas included with the DLC. Some of these bosses are original to this expansion while others actually originated from the fan-made Antibirth expansion.

Counting all of them, there is a total of 31 new bosses included with The Binding of Isaac: Repentance. Each of them will provide returning players with plenty of new challenges to face and new projectile patterns to learn in the heat of the moment.

While the new environments have their own unique bosses added, many of the pre-existing locations have gotten their own new bosses that players can enjoy before the new areas are unlocked. These bosses are:

  • Areas found: The Basement, Cellar, and Burning Basement
  • Base HP: 234
  • Areas found: The Caves
  • Base HP: 385
  • Areas found: The Caves, the Catacombs, and Flooded Caves
  • Base HP: N/A (Wave-based fight similar to Greed Mode)
  • Areas found: The Caves, the Catacombs, and Flooded Caves
  • Base HP: 35 (Tough exterior and must be exposed via bombs)
  • Areas found: The Caves, the Catacombs, and Flooded Caves
  • Base HP: 35 (Tough exterior and must be exposed via bombs)
  • Areas found: The Caves, the Catacombs, and Flooded Caves
  • Base HP: 444
  • Areas found: The Caves and the Depths
  • Base HP: 690
  • Areas found: The Caves, the Catacombs, Flooded Caves, and Necropolis
  • Base HP: 580

Two of the new floors added for this expansion are Downpour and Dross. Downpour can be unlocked after players defeat Hush at least three times with Dross being unlocked after players beat all the bosses in Downpour.

These two areas share some bosses with some only appearing in one or the other. The bosses for these areas are.

The Rainmaker

  • Areas found: Only in Downpour
  • Base HP: 200

Lil Blub

  • Areas found: In both Downpour and Dross
  • Base HP: 130

Min Min

  • Areas found: Only in Downpour
  • Base HP: 280

Wormwood

  • Areas found: In both Downpour and Dross
  • Base HP: 200

Clog

  • Areas found: Only in Dross
  • Base HP: 420

Colostomia

  • Areas found: Only in Dross
  • Base HP: 380

Turdlet

  • Areas found: Only in Dross
  • Base HP: 190

Two new alternatives for the Depths that have been added are the Mausoleum and Gehenna. These new areas have their own new bosses that are exclusive to them and they are:

The Siren

  • Areas found: Only in the Mausoleum
  • Base HP: 666

The Heretic

  • Areas found: Only in the Mausoleum
  • Base HP: 789

The Visage

  • Areas found: Only in Gehenna
  • Base HP: 620

The Horny Boys

  • Areas found: Only in Gehenna
  • Base HP: 707

Corpse is a new alternate area for the Womb, Utero, and Scarred Womb levels that players can enter. This area has its own set of bosses that can be challenged including a new alternative for Mom's Heart and It Lives. These bosses are:

Rotgut

  • Areas found: Corpse
  • Base HP: 1800

Chimera

  • Areas found: Corpse
  • Base HP: 1050

The Scourge

  • Areas found: Corpse
  • Base HP: 950

Mother

  • Areas found: Corpse
  • Base HP: 4222

The true final area of The Binding of Isaac is Home, where the last bosses of the game lie. Defeating them will lead players to the game's true ending which won't be an easy job. These bosses are:

Ultra Famine

Ultra Pestilence
