Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War New Zombies Map Coming Next Week

The next chapter in the Dark Aether arc arrives next week in Black Ops Cold War's Zombies mode, according to Treyarch. Mauer der Toten will have Zombies fans return to Berlin for a new round-based map on July 15 at midnight EST (9 PM July 14 PST).

You can check out the trailer below for a few story beats, some possible spoilers, and a look at all the new weapons and upgrades that are coming with Mauer der Toten. Those include the new CRBR-S Wonder Weapon with four total variations, the LT53 Kazimir, a craftable blaster that can send enemies into the Dark Aether or transport allies to a different area, and the Mule Kick, which makes its Black Ops Cold War debut and allows players to carry a third weapon without investing those five extra Still Tier upgrades.

On top of that, the trailer showcases a new robotic helper named Klaus (which make or may not be the immortal soul of Klaus Fischer trapped in a robotic body), as well as some sort of enormous powered armor suit. Oh, and a portal to a "long-dead army" which will likely bring a bunch more zombies to the field.

Besides Mauer der Toten and all its new goodies, Season 4 Reloaded will also bring some "fundamental changes" to the Zombies meta. Enemy health caps have been reduced substantially at high rounds, with regular zombies reduced to just +100% health down from +300% and HVTs reduced to +10% down from +100%. Health and armor for both Medium and Heavy Zombies have been reduced by 30% too.

Sniper critical damage multipliers, stock ammo, and max damage have all been buffed, as well as the Pack-a-Punch and triple Pack-a-Punch damage multipliers. Equipment, Support, and Field Upgrades (Frost Blast and Energy Mine) will now scale their damage evenly so they should be much more consistent in their ability to kill enemies.

It's not all Zombies news coming next week. Season 4 Reloaded will also bring back Snipers Only Moshpit and Knife Fight 3v3 but updated with Season 4 maps Collateral Strike, Amsterdam, and Hijacked. There's also a double Battle Pass XP weekend going on right now to help you crunch through those ranks on your days off.

Season 4 Reloaded arrives June 15 at midnight.
