Call of Duty: Warzone’s Red Doors Will Become Unstable In Upcoming Event

Perseus continues to dominate the storyline of Call of Duty: Warzone, as the developers reveal details for a new mid-season event coming up. Traditionally, mid-season events offer a minor tweak to the Call of Duty: Warzone map, but this change may be bigger than expected. Fans are left to prepare for an unknown effect that is rumored to be editing how the Red Doors operate.

The Red Doors were added to Call of Duty: Warzone when the map was blasted into the past by a nuclear missile. The doors offered a new fast-travel option into specifically placed loot rooms scattered across the map. While Call of Duty: Warzone fans had mixed feelings regarding the doors, one thing they could rely on is that each door was fairly consistent in its destination.

In a recent blog post by Call of Duty: Warzone's developers, the Red Doors have begun to grow unstable. Broadcasts coming from Perseus are causing the Red Doors to become volatile and post-mission briefing is reporting a change. While the direct claims have been redacted, fans should be aware that these doors are traveling to other locations than their preset destination points. It is unclear when this event will go live, but Call of Duty: Warzone fans expect it to launch with the Mobile Broadcast Stations appearing across the map.

As an interesting side note, the blog post also mentions double agents, which many believe is a reference to the new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War game mode. For fear of these double agents being aware of the details regarding this incident, the post has made further intel classified for the time being.

Randomized locations add a new factor to the evolution of the Red Doors. As the Perseus broadcasts meddle with the fabric of reality, the Red Door destinations were bound to be changed. While the exact effects that will happen during the Call of Duty: Warzone event are unclear, fans should be cautious when accessing any of the loot-filled Red Doors scattered across the map.

There are tons of different Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War content coming to the games soon. New perks, maps, game modes, and operators have already been revealed. As the season moves towards Season 5, the community is on the lookout for any changes or hints appearing in the game or online through any of the developer channels.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
