Chivalry 2 Has Officially Sold Over 1 Million Units

Launched this June, Chivalry 2 has already managed to sell more than 1 million units. Torn Banner Studios made the announcement today on Twitter, while also including a bunch of surprising player stats.

According to VentureBeat, this is the first game from publisher Tripwire Interactive to reach 1 million copies sold. It's also the fastest-selling game ever for Torn Banner. The team isn't done with Chivalry 2 yet, however, and has big plans for upcoming DLC.

"Our team is excited to celebrate this milestone, but even more pumped to continue to work on Chivalry 2 post-launch with tons of new content and improvements to come," Torn Banner Studios announced. The team also shared some fun facts about Chivalry 2 players, including:

  • Flute kills: 7969
  • Oar kills: 4700
  • Broom kills: 31314
  • Ladder Piece kills: 971

Chivalry 2 recently released the House Galencourt update, adding two new maps, an Arena mode, an arrow cam, and more than 60 customization options. It's unclear when the next big update will arrive, but Torn Banner Studios has made it clear there's still plenty of medieval content on the way.

If you're currently playing Chivalry 2 and are having trouble finding a weapon to tear through your opponents, we'd recommend the Ballista – as it's probably one of the best weapons in all of gaming. If you're not playing Chivalry 2, you're missing out on one of our highest-rated games of the year.
