Fear not, Knives Out fans, Dave Bautista insists that Knives Out 2 will not let anyone down. He vows that fans of the first whodunit will find a lot of appreciate in the sequel. The cast of Knives Out 2 has grown exponentially before filming began and has not stopped offering surprises since. Featuring a number of heavy hitters, the sequel has big shoes to fill to measure up to the first Rian Johnson mystery.
Bautista revealed that he thinks Knives Out 2 will be better than its predecessor. He believes the newest string of unorthodox characters are more colorful than the characters from the previous whodunit. In his opinion, Bautista finds the eccentric characters in the sequel to be even stranger than the vibrant characters in Knives Out.

These quirky characters cannot be done properly without the correct casting. In fact, Bautista discussed how much he is in awe of what his castmates have brought to the table. In an interview with People, he insisted that while working with a few of them, he "was memorized by their performances and just how well they've adapted into these characters."
Such high remarks certainly raise the stakes for the sequel. It has big shoes to fill with a star-studded cast that included Christopher Plummer, Jaime Lee Curtis, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, and LaKeith Stanfield. The sequel's cast features a number of heavy hitters more than capable of delivering a solid performance. The revealed cast includes Kathryn Hahn, Janelle Monáe, Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr., Edward Norton, and Jessica Henwick. Knives Out 2 will also feature Daniel Craig, who will reprise the role of Benoit Blanc, the savvy detective who tracked down the killer in the first film.
In late June, Knives Out creator Rian Johnson revealed that Knives Out 2 had officially begun filming in Greece. Johnson has not revealed any plot details, but it is a mystery after all. A series of set photos taken in Greece revealed a few characters in costume, including Bautista, Hudson, and Madelyn Cline. For fans of Knives Out or classic whodunit mysteries, there will be one more Johnson mystery to follow. Netflix will release Knives Out 2 and the third installment that will follow. Of all the intricate characters movie fans can expect to see in these films, Daniel Craig is likely to be the only returning cast member.
