Devolver Digital’s Weird West Takes You On A Journey Later This Year

Saddle Up For a Ride To The Western Frontier

Devolver Digital is a video game publishing company whose portfolio has grown substantially over the past few years and has had their hands in many successful video games such as The Talos Principle, Serious Sam, Enter the Gungeon and more. The company consistently works with developers to release top tier, niche video games. On the other hand, Woflfeye Studios was started by Raphael Colantonio, who was founder and president of Arkane, responsible for titles such as Dishonored and Prey 2017. Needless to say, the game’s development studio is quite talented.

Today, Devolver Digital along with developers WolfEye Studios, have confirmed the release of Weird West, an upcoming RPG set in the Western Frontier. The game is set to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC later this fall. Players can wishlist the game on Steam right now.

In Weird West, the typical world that fans have come to know, of lawmen and gunslingers, has taken a slight shift, as there are now mythical creatures in the fray. Players will take on the journey of various heroes from their origin to the end in a harrowing environment that is quite unforgiving. Each journey is unique and each choice counts for the future, so players must be wary of the choices they make today.

In Weird West, players can choose to join up with a team or take the journey through the West alone. The game’s trailer shows off typical ARPG elements, an interesting art-style and fluid combat with a variety of weapons and magical abilities. Various conversations between characters are also shown, indicating the importance of each choice on player’s journeys.
