Update: (August 27, 7:00pm ET) Pearl Abyss has responded to the claims that DokeV is releasing in 2022, clarifying that a release window hasn't been decided.
Pearl Abyss has confirmed that DokeV is coming to consoles and PC, although a release date is still TBA.
Gamescom's Future Games Show featured an interview with the developers of DokeV, which confirmed some of the consoles you'll be able to play it on.

After showcasing the game, the Future Games Show announcer revealed that it is coming to "console and PC in 2022", which is the first confirmation that we've had of consoles and a launch year for the game since its gameplay trailer yesterday. Some of that information seems to be mistaken though, as Pearl Abyss has clarified that a release year has not been decided.
Beyond that, the interview also revealed a bit more about what you'll actually be doing in DokeV and some of the history behind it. Dokebi are spirit-like-entities that appear in traditional Korean folklore that help people realise their dreams. This inspired the developers to have them appear as characters in the game. The story of the game revolves around "collecting Dokebi and embarking on various adventures with friends".
Although much of the gameplay footage showcased combat, that is apparently just one of the many elements of DokeV. There are many minigames and social elements to be found within the open-world environment. The developers also wanted to try and make the game feel familiar, and like it was set in the real world.
The developers have promised that more information will come soon and that their focus is to make the game more fun and to have it be the highest quality it can be.
