Dragalia Lost Will See "Reduction" In New Content Starting In November

Just yesterday, the director of Dragalia Lost, Yuji Okada, posted an update regarding the future content release schedule for the game. In short, we’re unfortunately going to be getting less than we were before.

As usual, Okada starts by thanking his fans for playing Dragalia Lost. He then goes on to share the following:

Starting this November, the game's development and management structure will undergo some changes accompanied by a reduction in the amount of content released each month going forward. In particular, the number of new adventurers and dragons added to the game each month will change, and starting in December, new onslaught, defensive, and coliseum events will no longer be added (though existing ones will return at regular intervals). Please note that these details may change without prior notice.

Despite this bleak news, Okada continued on to assure fans that the team is still working on content for the game’s third anniversary in September, and that they will still be holding events and releasing main campaign chapters going forward, despite the above reductions.

Even just as of today, Astral Raids became a new thing in Dragalia Lost. Astral Raids are event quests in which you can fight against past raid bosses, which this time will include Thanatos. Players can collect astral shards and trade them for neat rewards. You can read more about Astral Raids here.
