Genshin Impact: How To Take A Picture Of The Situation At The Mikage Furnace (Process Is Everything)

After retrieving the beacons placed in the Mikage Furnace, the next task that Genshin Impact players must complete in the Tatara Tales questline is the "Process Is Everything" world quest. In the quest, Genshin Impact players are tasked with entering the Mikage Furnace and must take some photographs to assess the situation inside.

To start the quest, head to the northern Tatarasuna waypoint and speak with Xavier. After speaking with Xavier, he will ask the player to record some data inside the Mikage Furnace in order to assess how he can fix the current situation.

Players should note prior to heading inside the Mikage furnace that they will continuously take damage while inside. To prevent taking damage, players must activate the Electrogranum plants scattered throughout the area which will grant them brief invulnerability to the Electro energy in the air. Because the Electrogranum plants are not always immediately available while in the Mikage Furnace, it is recommended that players stock up on healing items, or have a healer in their party composition before entering.

From Xavier's location, head directly east towards the first marker. When players reach the marker they must open the photo option from the main menu.

When photo mode is open, players must aim the camera directly up towards the storage device floating in the air. When players are facing the correct angle, a message will appear on the screen that states "Camera has been adjusted to the correct angle." After taking the picture players should automatically receive a "somewhat clear image" added to their inventory.

From the first photo location, head northeast across the river towards the second marker. After crossing the small river players should be aware of the Mirror Maiden patrolling the area, and try their best not to aggro the enemy. When players reach the second marker two Samurai will spawn that the player will have to defeat before they can successfully take the second photograph.

Once the enemies have been defeated, open photo mode and aim the camera towards the large stone furnace in the area. Like the previous photograph, when the target is in the frame, a prompt will appear on-screen letting the player know.

After taking the second photograph a "rather foggy imagine" will be automatically added to the player's inventory. At this point, players can return to Xavier in order to submit the photos and complete the quest. Players will receive 20 Primogems for completing the quest and must now wait until the daily refresh before they can continue the Tatara Tales questline.
