There are numerous PlayStation exclusive titles to release over the last several decades, but Ghost of Tsushima is one that quickly became beloved by many in the gaming community within a decently short timeframe. Releasing last year to much success and popularity, Ghost of Tsushima recently received a new DLC expansion in the form of Iki Island, and it is littered with secrets and Easter Eggs for players to discover.
Iki Island is the first piece of new Ghost of Tsushima content to release since the release of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, the online multiplayer mode for players to enjoy after finishing the main game. While Iki Island offers much in terms of new content and gameplay mechanics, it also includes many cosmetic Easter Eggs that weren't previously included in the main game. Many of which reference other Sony games, including ones that Sucker Punch has already worked on.

In a cave located on Iki Island, there's a cave painting that players can find that bears an uncanny resemblance to Sly Cooper, one of Sucker Punch's earliest franchises and a beloved, first-party PlayStation series. The painting in question depicts Sly Cooper running with his two friends, Murray the hippo and Bentley the turtle, who have made appearances throughout the series.
While it makes sense for Sucker Punch to include a Sly Cooper Easter Egg, given the studio's direct involvement with the series, it's not the only PlayStation series to be referenced in Iki Island. There's also a God of War Easter Egg located in-game, as well as a cacophony of God of War-related content that players can find and use in-game.
It's nice to see Sucker Punch pay homage to Sly Cooper nearly two decades after its initial release. Then again, it begs to question if there will ever be another installment in the Sly Cooper series. Given the massive success of games like Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, it's possible that Sly Cooper could receive similar treatment in the future.
In terms of Ghost of Tsushima, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the series. It's unlikely that fans will see another direct installment anytime soon, but given the release of Ghost of Tsushima: Iki Island, it's possible that Ghost of Tsushima could receive additional DLC expansions in the future. With any luck, the gaming community might be seeing more Ghost of Tsushima content in the coming years.
