It seems the upcoming Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be a looker when it’s launched on PC, as Eidos Montrel is collaborating with Nvidia to bring DLSS and RTX support to the game.
Prior to Gamescom 2021, Nvidia has revealed several projects are about to get DLSS and ray tracing support in the near future. One of them will be Square Enix’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which is releasing on October 26. The action-adventure will feature ray tracing reflections for stunning graphics as well as DLSS AI-based upscaling technology for a smooth experience. Both features will work from the game's launch.

Eidos Montréal’s producer Olivier Proulx said, “With the addition of ray tracing and Nvidia DLSS, PC players will enjoy this stunning universe’s visuals with even higher performance.”
The same is true for the upcoming zombie action-RPG Dying Light 2 Stay Human, launching on December 7. The sequel will support DLSS and several ray tracing effects such as global illumination, lifelike shadows, and reflections at launch. “Ray tracing enhances the realism of our unforgiving, infected world while Nvidia DLSS provides a massive performance boost without sacrificing image quality, so you’ll never miss a beat traversing the landscape,” Techland’s rendering director Tomasz Szałkowski said. The studio showcased footage highlighting all the advanced tech it will bring to PC:
In addition to Guardians of the Galaxy and Dying Light 2, there are some other games to receive additional graphical benefits from Nvidia. The company announced that Battlefield 2042, Myst, Grit, Synced: Off Planet, Bright Memory: Infinite, Loopmancer, Faraday Protocol, and Chivalry 2 will also get DLSS support.
Moreover, after DLSS came to Linux back in June, the company announced that a bunch of DX11 and DX12 games will get support for the technology in September. This includes Cyberpunk 2077, Death Stranding, Control, F1 2020, Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries, Necromunda: Hired Gun, among several others. The complete list for the rest of 2021 will include dozens of projects, according to Nvidia.
