The character creation in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is pretty good and you can even tweak your character's appearance after the initial creation, changing up your hairstyle, makeup, and customizing your armor's appearance and color.

How to Change Ena and Navirou's Outfits
You can change Ena and Navirou's outfits by interacting with the chest inside of your house, located in any of the village/city hubs within the game. Simply choose the character whose outfit you wish to change, and then you can select which one you want them to wear from the items you have.
These outfit changes will apply to the characters both in the world as you play, as well as any story cutscenes. If you want to view any previous cutscenes with the characters in their new outfits, you can view them from the "Gallery" option from your chest as well.
How to Get New Outfits For Ena and Navirou
The best place to get outfits for Ena and Navirou is from the Melynx Inc. NPC, who will gladly sell you a variety of exclusive items in exchange for Bottle Caps. Navirou has a wide selection of different outfits available, all of which are marked by the paw logo.
Ena has only a few outfits sold here, each one is a color variation of her traveling gear and they are marked by an armor logo in the shop menu. You'll also unlock Ena's White Dress after the events in Rutoh Village as part of the storyline.
You can also purchase additional DLC to get more outfits for Navirou and Ena, which you can easily do by speaking to the Connecticat NPC in any village and choosing the Downloadable content option. You can either purchase bundles of clothes for a fixed price depending on the pack you choose, or individual outfits for $4.50/£2.69 each.
