You'll likely notice the Prayer Pot feature in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin fairly early on, as this peculiar pot with a grinning face is hard to miss. Prayer Pots can grant you temporary buffs, so it's worth making sure you use one before heading out into the field.

How to Use the Prayer Pot
The Prayer Pot has three functions, Prayers, Charms, and amiibo usage. Prayers and Charms offer temporary buffs to the player, and you can have one of each active at any one time; it's recommended to have them active at all times to get the best results. Each prayer and charm offers a different kind of buff, so you can choose one that best suits your needs.
More prayers unlock as you upgrade your Prayer Pot, while charms can be found in treasure chests, earned from subquests, or received as prizes from Tsukino's Lunar Luck minigame.
Charms last for 30 minutes each, though you can use more than one at a time to stack the tickets and make the blessing last longer. Using a different kind of charm will overwrite any current active charm. If a charm has a little blue Navirou logo over it, it means that the charm will be boosted and will last for 45 minutes instead.
How to Upgrade the Prayer Pot
Initially, you will only have one prayer available and buffs given by prayers and charms have a very smaller increase to begin with. However, each time the Prayer Pot levels up, the effects of prayers and charms will become more powerful. You can upgrade your Prayer Pot by using more charms.
You will unlock more prayers as you level up the Prayer Pot and once you have unlocked all prayers, you can continue to level it up to make prayers and charms more powerful, however, it begins to take more charms to do. For example, after reaching level 10, it will take ten charms to upgrade to the next level, then as you level higher, it takes 15 charms per level, etc.
