Ubisoft have announced the first season of Hyper Scape is now live during Ubisoft Forward.
As previously reported, the game takes place in the dystopian future of 2054, humanity now lives in mega-cities, but escape into Prisma’s hyper scape virtual reality. The “game within a game” Crown Rush is now the world’s most popular battle royale.
Those who win can have their lives changed for the better. However, something suspicious has been happening; players are getting hurt in real life. Some have even gone missing.
Players can win by being the last team standing, or picking up and controlling a crown for the longest time at the end of the match. Players can also deploy Hacks to create walls, go invisible, see through walls, or turn into a giant destructive bouncing ball.
As part of Season 1 now being available in-game, the Turbo Mode will feature faster matches for a limited time. All gear starts at maximum fusion level, health regenerates faster, and sections collapse quicker.
