iPhone’ periscopic telephoto lens specifications include sensor size of 1/3-inch, 12MP resolutions, f/2.8 aperture, sensor shift stabilization, and 5-6x optical zoom. As compared to iPhone 13 Pro’s 3x optical zoom, iPhone 15 Pro Max double this capability.

According to Kuo, the full periscope lens module includes 1 glass lens, 2 plastic lenses, and 2 prisms with a lens barrel. This will result in a higher cost for the camera module.
