The best Lego game since Batman, Indiana Jones, or Star Wars – you pick, let's not start any internet fights – is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 5 later this year.
In January, sleuths spotted that it had been rated for the Switch but no concrete date had been announced at the time. That's now changed meaning that you can celebrate this Halloween with the fittingly horror-themed Back 4 Blood and… the comicbook cheesefest that is Lego Marvel Superheroes. Different strokes.

It isn't the first Lego Marvel game to appear on the Switch, however. You can currently pick up its sequel for $7.49 right now which features Kang the Conqueror and his temporal city Chronopolis – it's a multiversal jaunt that predated Loki by a few years. Now's the perfect time to try it out if you haven't already.
That just leaves Lego Marvel's Avengers which is a more traditional Lego game in that it adapts a film directly or rather, in this case, films. It's an adaptation of the MCU up until Age of Ultron with some DLC for the extra tidbits that came after as well as the tie-in shows like Agents of SHIELD and, dare I say it, Inhumans.
It isn't part of the Marvel Super Heroes line but it's a Lego Marvel game all the same, so perhaps it'll join in on the fun one of these days.
At any rate – come this October – you can dive into a Lego New York City with a roster of Marvel superheroes from all corners of the comics whether it's niche and obscure or so popular that they headline billion-dollar blockbusters.
