Naruto Uzumaki’s 10 Best Jutsu Techniques | Game Rant

Naruto Uzumaki is the eponymous character and the main protagonist of theNaruto series. As the face of a popular manga that has spawned a successful series, a couple of video games, and a lineup of movies, he is one of the most recognizable figures in the world of anime and one that's idolized by many. At the beginning of the Naruto series, the protagonist is shown to be aloof, almost simple-minded. As his story progressed, however, Naruto became more skilled, more powerful, and wiser in and out of combat.

Naruto also happens to be one, if not the most powerful character in this story's universe. Naruto went from being an underwhelming genin to a god-like Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. His Jutsu arsenal expanded over time, but the character still has a few Jutsus he uses so often and effectively, they're almost synonymous with him. Here are Naruto's best Jutsus and techniques in the manga and the anime series.

10 Bayron Mode

The Bayron Mode transformation is a unique ability exclusive only to Kurama and its host. Making its debut in the Boruto manga, this mode is one of the most powerful and dangerous transformations in the series.

Activating the form gives Naruto a look that closely resembles Kurama. It essentially works by combining Kurama and Naruto's raw chakra, comparable to that of a nuclear fusion. When activated, Naruto's strength, speed, and awareness are increased exponentially. Unfortunately, this mode's drawback is that it drains the lifeforce of its user.

9 One Thousand Years Of Death

Those who are fans of the Naruto series know how iconic the One Thousand Years of Death technique is. Initially used by Kakashi, Naruto has time and again used the technique in serious situations, despite its seemingly foolish nature.

Incredibly, Naruto has managed to use the technique quite effectively. During his fight with Gaara, Naruto used a variation of the technique by using an explosive tag-infused kunai on him.

8 Naruto Rendan

Naruto Rendan, also known as Naruto Uzumaki Combo, is an offensive taijutsu attack mixed with the Shadow Clone Technique. Inspired by Sasuke's Lion Combo, Naruto spawns four clones to send an enemy in the air; meanwhile, the real version awaits above to either punch or land a heel drop on the opponent.

Naruto first uses the technique on Kiba during the Chunnin exams. He has consequently used the technique to great effect against multiple enemies such as Sasuke, Gaara, and even Kaguya.

7 Sexy Technique

Whenever Naruto uses his Sexy Technique, it immediately becomes a funny moment in the series. The show simply uses the technique to comedic effect. While he mainly uses a female body when performing the technique, he also often uses a male body to use against female characters, which he calls Reverse Harem Technique.

Despite being a gag technique, Naruto doesn't shy away from using it during serious situations. He mainly uses it to distract enemies while preparing for something bigger, like when he used it on Kaguya so he can land a clean hit on her.

6 Sage Mode

The Sage Mode is a very difficult transformation to master. This essentially requires the user to blend their chakra with natural energy, which creates Senjutsu chakra. Doing this requires absolute stillness in mind and body, which is easier said than done. Due to its immense difficulty, only a handful of ninja managed to perfect it. Naruto is one of those ninjas.

When in Sage Mode, Naruto's speed, strength, durability, reflexes, and perception are enhanced. Their techniques also become significantly powerful. Not only has Naruto mastered the Sage Mode, but he is also capable of fusing it with his other forms.

5 Shadow Clone Technique

The Shadow Clone Technique is the first technique Naruto mastered. Since then, it has helped him in and out of combat on innumerable occasions. His mastery of the technique has also allowed him to adapt and invent other Jutsus such as Rasengan, Sage Mode, Naruto Rendan, and Rasen Shuriken.

While the Shadow Clone Technique is used by almost every ninja in the world of Naruto, it is widely considered to be a Jonin-rank technique due to it requiring massive amounts of chakra. In fact, the Multiple Shadow Clone technique is considered forbidden to most people. Despite this, Naruto is able to effectively use it on multiple occasions due to his massive chakra reserves.

4 Tailed Beast Mode

The Tailed Beast Mode is a transformation any Jinchuriki can do. This mode allows them to transform into a shape similar to that of their respective tailed beasts, while also gaining some of the beast's natural abilities. However, those who make use of this form while not in harmony with their tailed beast may eventually lose control and get taken over by the Chakra Monster.

Naruto has used the Tailed Beast form on various occasions, which often results in him completely overpowering an opponent but losing his consciousness in the process. However, when Naruto and Kurama started becoming friends, the former was able to take full control of most of the latter's chakra. This gave Naruto new transformations like Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, Kurama Mode, and a full-size Tailed Beast Mode where he essentially takes Kurama's chakra form.

3 Rasengan

Naruto learning Rasengan is one of the shonen character's most iconic moments. Learning Rasengan was far from easy for Naruto, but when he did, it immediately became one of his favorite and most powerful techniques.

Over the years, Naruto has mastered the technique so much that he has created multiple variations of it. He has created versions of Rasengan that are massive in size, he has infused it with various chakra types such as Wind, Lava, and Magnet, and he also later learned how to perform it with both hands. Naruto even incorporates a Rasengan at every tip of the Nine-Tails when in full-sized Tailed Beast mode.

2 Wind Release: Rasenshuriken

While Naruto learning Rasengan was an iconic moment for him, his creation of Rasenshuriken was a milestone. When he created this powerful Jutsu, it signified that Naruto surpassed his father, the Fourth Hokage, since Rasenshuriken was the technique Minato envisioned but never managed to complete.

Rasenshuriken involves fusing Rasengan with the user's elemental nature. Initially, Naruto can only create this technique with the help of two clones. Eventually, he learned to do it by himself and even to control its trajectory. It is an S-Rank technique that destroys most enemies in just one hit.

1 Six Paths Sage Mode

The Six Paths Sage Mode is a powerful transformation one can only attain after being blessed by the God of Shinobi himself, Hagoromo Otsutsuki. This mode gave Naruto a myriad of new techniques, exponentially increased his strength, speed, and awareness, as well as making his Jutsus significantly more powerful.

The Six Paths Sage Mode is a heightened version of the normal Sage Mode. Thus, this makes use of natural energy. Naruto also utilizes Kurama's chakra whenever he uses the Six Paths Sage Mode, essentially making this mode an amalgamation of every transformation the character is able to do, added with the Six Path's powers.
