The Nintendo eShop is home to arguably one of the greatest catalogs of video games ever assembled, but it also can be said argued that it isn’t particularly easy to navigate. The eShop’s UI is woefully spartan, with minimal options for searching and filtering content. Thankfully, Nintendo has decided to tweak the experience with a couple of useful updates.

Users are no longer locked into a purchase leading up to launch, which is great for those with second thoughts about certain games. Second, games that are on sale now show a countdown signaling when the discount will be removed. Coupled with some other quality of life features Nintendo added earlier in the year (specifically about filtering queries based on price range, DLC versus full games, and more), the eShop is becoming a better, if still imperfect, shopping experience.
