OlliOlli World Customization Shown In New Trailer

OlliOlli World just got a new trailer thanks to the ID@Xbox presentation today, and this one showcases the game's amazing customization options. From clothing to body shapes and sizes to skateboard art, everything about your character can be customized.

Simon Bennett, co-lead at developer Roll7, showed off OlliOlli World’s vast cosmetic options with a Bumblebee onesie, an ice cream hairstyle, and a cyclops mask. "As long as you're on a board, anything goes,” said Bennett, and he seemed to mean it. There’s a lot of different sliders available during character creation, from body type and shame to skin tone and hair color. After that, there are hundreds of different clothing options to unlock, with slots for glasses, helmets, hats, shirts, shoes, pants, and more.

Your skateboard is also fully customizable with a selection of board arts to choose from as well as different color options for your wheels and axles.

Besides physical stuff like clothes and skin, you can also customize your character’s style too. Things like kickflips, stances, and running starts can all come with different animations depending on the kind of vibe you want for your skateboarding avatar.

OlliOlli World is set to release on every major console and PC later this winter, but on Xbox Series X Bennett said you can expect the game to run at 4K resolution and 120 fps. It'll also use Smart Delivery in case you buy the game on Xbox One and decide to upgrade to the Xbox Series X|S later on.

In case you didn't catch the initial announcement back in April, OlliOlli World is the third installment of the OlliOlli series. An action platformer that looks to have a lot of similarities with the runner genre, OlliOlli World places you in Radland on a quest to find the mystical skate gods of Gnarvana.

Gameplay involves skating down long paths, doing tricks off rails and ramps, and completing missions and challenges. Each level has different paths to explore, while the game itself features "approachable but deep mechanics."
